drplus privacy policy

drplus is a personal tool used only by its owner, Paul Mason. This policy explains what Google user data it accesses and what happens to it.

Data accessed

With the owner's consent, drplus uses:

• YouTube Data API, read-only scope: the titles and IDs of videos in the owner's own playlists, and the owner's channel subscriptions.
• Gmail API, send-only scope: to send reports to the owner. drplus never reads, searches, deletes or modifies any email.

How it is used

Video captions and the claims taken from them are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service to be fact-checked. The resulting report is stored on the owner's own computer and emailed to the owner. Nothing else is done with the data.

Sharing

Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone other than the processing described above.

Storage and deletion

Reports and access tokens are kept only on the owner's computer. Access can be withdrawn at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops drplus immediately.

Limited Use

drplus's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
